The Problem Child promised and delivered, disposing of August in less than three minutes.

No study was necessary, an uppercut at 2 minutes and 32 seconds ended Andre August’s aspirations on Saturday night. Jake Paul silenced the critics.

The Problem Child added his ninth professional victory and it was by knockout against a dedicated boxer, and nothing could taste better.

“I said it all week, I said it would be in the first round. It was a rally. He had been very gracious, but the Problem Child came back. I turned off the criticism,” stated the fighter who improved to 8-1, with five knockouts.

With the height, weight and reach advantage, Paul didn’t let August work and as soon as he found the opportunity he ended the action on a packed night in Orlando, Florida.

“Really good things are coming, I can’t talk right now, but something big is coming next week,” he added.
Tonight fighter Franchon Crews-Dezurn was also crowned World Boxing Council super middleweight champion by dispatching longtime rival Shadasia Green by unanimous decision.
